We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our small team in providing professional lawn care services to residential and commercial clients throughout Central Illinois.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in lawn care preferred but not required. (Will train the right person)
- Ability to work independently and stay on task.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Job summary:
- Perform scheduled lawn care applications, such as fertilization, weed control, aeration, seeding, etc.
- Meet daily and/or weekly production goals efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing questions or concerns.
- Maintain clear and precise line of communication between customers and office personnel.
- Notify customers by telephone of upcoming services if and when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed for each job throughout the day.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and in working order.
This is a seasonal position from March through December with various hours during the winter for snow plowing services.
Hours are Monday through Friday 8-5 with some flexibility. Weekends may be required during peak season and during inclement weather throughout the week.
Starting pay is $17.50/hour with a raise after completing testing for applicator license. Paid training while working on license.
