Job Description
The Automotive Sales Representative will be directly responsible for selling used vehicles in a relaxed, open atmosphere. We expect the utmost care and effort will be used to ensure that customers are treated professionally, and with respect before, during, and after the sale. Total satisfaction must be the goal in each sale, understanding the importance of special finance will be an extremely beneficial asset.
Role and Responsibilities of Automotive Sales Representative:
  • Realize that our business is built on customer satisfaction, referrals & devotion to taking care of our customers to the best of our abilities. This is crucial to our success and mandatory.
  • Flexibility, attention to detail, & excellent follow up skills are important for this position.
  • Determine each customer's vehicle & financing needs by asking questions and listening.
  • Attention to very detailed credit application information, and any information deemed necessary to help the financing process.
  • Keep abreast of incoming & current inventory, features accessories, & product knowledge.
  • Work with the service department to ensure that vehicles are reconditioned, serviced & detailed, as expected.
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business.
Qualifications and Education Requirements of Automotive Sales Representative:
  • Previous sales experience in automotive industry 
  • Valid driver's license
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Excellent communication skills
