POSITION:                         Crisis Intervention Specialist
LOCATION:                        Canton
HOURS:                              Monday- Friday 2:00 pm -10:00 pm, On-Call as needed
Salary:                                $22.00 (Exact salary calculation based on education and experience)
 
 
 
POSITION Overview:

• Completes assessments of clients in crisis within ED of local hospitals to determine appropriate level of care
• Completes de-escalation of clients with acute symptoms
• Screens and evaluates clients for higher level of care
• Completes clinical assessments and treatment plans for clients deflected from ED
• Completes referrals for follow up from ED or to inpatient psych facilities
• Works after hours on a rotating evening and weekend schedule

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy or Human Services
• Bachelor’s Degree in like field with 2 years’ work experience in a Behavioral Health setting
• High School Diploma and 5 years working experience in clinical role in a behavioral health setting
