Administrative Assistant: Accounts Receivable & Customer Service – Full-Time

The Fulton County Emergency Medical Association, Inc., ground ambulance services provider for Fulton County, Illinois, is currently accepting applications for the permanent full-time position of Administrative Assistant: Accounts Receivable & Customer Service in our business office, which is located at 635 South Main Street, Canton.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communications skills, computer skills, and a willingness to learn.

A combination of any of the following training and/or experience is preferred but not required:
previous experience working in the accounts receivable environment (healthcare or non-healthcare), data entry, or basic accounting. For this position,

The Association offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package including a base salary with a starting range of $18.76 - $20.89 hourly ($39,021 - $43,451 annually, based upon a 40-hour work week) dependent on education and experience, group health benefit plan which includes platinum medical coverage with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois and platinum dental and vision coverage with Delta Dental of Illinois, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability insurance, vacation leave, sick leave, no fault leave, 401(k) retirement program with substantial employer matching provision (up to 100% for the first nine percent deferred) and entry as early as January 1, 2025, employee assistance program, paid initial training and continuing education, and payroll direct deposit.

Additionally, we are able to offer some flexibility in work schedule (the base work schedule offered is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a half an hour lunch or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch; however, we can be somewhat flexible with start and end times, and, while we are able to offer 40 hours of work per week, we would consider offering a schedule with a lesser weekly work requirement to the right candidate at their request.
