It’s the most wonderful time of the year…time for a new ghost story book by Sylvia Shults!
Parlin-Ingersoll Public Library is hosting Sylvia Shults, author of The Spirits of Christmas: the Dark Side of the Holidays, for a presentation and book signing on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Library Program Room.
Ms. Shults is a well-known local author of the paranormal. In this work she has collected over 120 ghost stories from all over the world—stories that put the “spirit” in “Christmas spirit.” Her stories encompass everything from strange Christmas customs to the season’s monsters and ghosts.
Previous works by Ms. Shults include Ghosts of the Illinois River…Stories of Folks Here Along the Illinois River Who Haven’t Really Left Us…Even After They Have Left Us and Fractured Spirits: Hauntings at the Peoria State Hospital.
Come join us for some fun and hear some spooky tales which may warm your heart or chill you to the bone! Copies of The Spirits of Christmas will be available for purchase at the program for $16. No registration is required. For more information, please call the Library at 647-0328.
