Kids Giveaway - Make your own Pottery!

As part of Native American Heritage month, celebrate a traditional practice that has been observed in Illinois for thousands of years! Kids are welcome to pick up a free activity bag containing clay to make their own Native style Pinch Pot on Saturday, November 13th between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. 

Supplies are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Please share a photo of your finished piece on the Museum’s Facebook page, Illinois State Museum-Dickson Mounds.
