Dear partners and friends of Hunting Works For Illinois,
Thank you again for being a partner and helping to spread the message of how hunting and the shooting sports are important to Illinois’ economy, heritage and conservation efforts.
We have a regional meeting in Canton on Wednesday March 7, that I wanted to invite you to attend. Please see below for all the details and feel free to share with anyone you think might be interested in attending and learning more about Hunting Works for Illinois.
Hunting Works For Illinois exists to promote the strong economic partnership between the hunting and shooting communities and the local economy of Illinois. We have partners ranging from hotels/motels/resorts, restaurants, gas stations/convenience stores, retailers big and small, hunting and shooting organizations, chambers of commerce and convention and visitors bureaus from throughout Illinois. These meetings will update current and potential partners on the work and mission of HWFIL. If you support hunting and the shooting sports you are welcome to become a partner, which is free!

About Hunting Works For Illinois
Mission Statement
Hunting Works For Illinois exists to promote the strong economic partnership between the hunting and shooting communities and the local economy of Illinois.
Who We Are
Our membership consists of businesses representing a cross-section of the Illinois economy. These include sporting retailers big and small, restaurant owners, hotel, motel and resort operators, gas stations and convenience stores, hunting and shooting organizations, chambers of commerce, convention and visitors bureaus and of course all the taxpayers of Illinois (hunters and non-hunters alike) who benefit economically and aesthetically from the license fees, taxes, and jobs the hunting and shooting industry provides both directly and indirectly.
What We Do
HWFIL advocates for public policy that supports jobs and economic prosperity. As a grassroots organization, we help tell the story of the role hunting and shooting sports play in both the heritage and economic health of Michigan.
What We Believe
Our partners have a story to tell about the important economic chain involving hunting and shooting sports that supports many jobs, both rural and urban, across the state of Michigan. We believe that communication is important. Hunters and shooters face an ever increasing number of challenges today. Public policy decisions that impact hunting and shooting ultimately impact Illinois jobs. HWFIL serves as a vehicle to facilitate this important public policy dialogue and to tell the story about preservation and conservation and jobs.
